The World Biofuels Markets, the largest annual European event focused on the biofuels market will bring together industry leaders, customers and suppliers. This year the event will take place in Amsterdam, The Netherlands on 15-17 March 2010. The Brazilian Sugarcane Industry Association has been participating in the event since 2008 and this year will be one of the supporting organisations.

UNICA will participate as a guest in sessions on biofuels and will launch in its booth the Virtual Mill, a multimedia project displaying all the stages of the sugar, ethanol and bioelectricity production.

In the Virtual Mill, visitors will be able to follow the entire production process of sugarcane, from planting to harvesting, including the milling, fermentation, distillation, cogeneration, and the delivery of the final products as well as the daily life of the sector’s workers.
